In Settings, connect your Google account and choose the calendars PlanWell should show. Give each calendar a role: Classes fill the periods their events overlap, and Events appear above the timetable. Pick a Google Tasks list for weekly goals, or leave goals off. If PlanWell asks you to reconnect, it needs permission to edit Calendar and Tasks.
In Local Markdown mode, PlanWell stores your planning data as Markdown files in a folder you control. Choose an iCloud Drive folder if you want the files on your other Macs.
Apple Calendar and Reminders sync is optional and available in Local Markdown mode. Turn on only what you want, and change either permission later in macOS System Settings.
If something looks out of date, open PlanWell and check that it can still reach your planning folder or Google account.
Choose your Obsidian vault as the PlanWell folder to use the same planning files in both apps. You can also open the files in any text editor.
No account is needed unless you use Google mode, and PlanWell for Mac has no analytics, advertising or tracking. Read the full privacy policy.
